Roasted Potatoes in Beer and Butter Recipe
Makes 3-4 dishes
Ingredients:
-3-4 medium size potatoes (unpeeled and thoroughly washed)
-20 grams butter
-2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
-½ tsp salt, or to taste
-¼ tsp cracked black pepper, or to taste
-¼ tsp dried basil
-¼ tsp dried thyme
-1 tbsp brown sugar
-100 ml beer

Instructions:
1) Cut the potatoes in half, lengthwise, and put them in a medium-sized pot. Fill the pot with water, just above the potatoes’ height, and bring it to a boil. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender but not completely mushy. Drain the potatoes and set aside.
2) Place butter in a small pot over medium-high heat until melted. Add the garlic and fry for 30 seconds, until fragrant and lightly golden. Add the spices and beer and stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
3) Wrap each potato half in an aluminum foil square, drizzling 2-3 tablespoons of the sauce on top of the potato before sealing. Place the wrapped potato halves in a baking dish and Bake in an oven preheated to 428° F/220° C for 25-30 minutes, or until potatoes are golden and tender.
