Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Makes about 20 cookies
Ingredients:
-200 grams butter (room temperature)
-¾ cup sugar
-¾ cup brown sugar
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-2 eggs
-2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp salt
-300 grams chocolate chips
Instructions:
1) Using a stand/hand mixer, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Add one egg at a time and mix until well incorporated.
2) In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add to the mixture in the mixer bowl and stir until combined.
3) Add chocolate chips and stir to incorporate.
4) Roll the dough into ping-pong sized balls and place on a paper lined baking tray.
5) Bake in an oven preheated to 338° F/170° C for 8-10 minutes (the cookies should be slightly golden but will remain soft and slightly firm up after cooling).
